I
use only natural and organic products, to give children (over 8 years old)
a fun facial at the party. Each child would receive a 10 to 15 minute facial
routine. This would have four steps. Firstly cleansing with Organic Orange
Blossom flower water. Then a face pack is applied, this can be selected from
fresh pureed Strawberry, Avocado, Mango, Cucumber, Yogurt, Oatmeal and Honey,
or Yogurt and Banana. All ingredients are organic and seasonal. Two slices
of cucumber (or two camomile teabags) are applied to the eyes and then left
for a few minutes. While the mask is on, a relaxing hand massage is carried
out. For step three, the face mask is removed with cotton wool and clean warm
water, and the skin is toned with an organic flower water - chosen from Lavender,
Rose, Camomile, Orange Blossom, Melissa (Lemon Balm) or Peppermint. Finally
a home-made moisturiser is applied.
Each child is a given a gift bag containing a 10ml Bath Blend bottle, and a 30ml jar of Home-Made Hand Moisturising Cream or a 30 ml jar of Home-Made Face Scrub. These items are presented in a small organza bag.
I
also provide an aromatic facial for women, using scented oil or cream which
improves skin tone whilst reducing tension and easing away worry lines. The
routine consists of Cleansing using a home-made cleansing oil, Steaming with
warm water infused with organic peppermint or camomile teabag, a Facial Massage
using your choice of essential oil, a natural Face Mask to rejuvenate, soothe
and nourish the skin, and final application of a home-made Moisturiser. The
facial lasts for about 45 minutes.
As
a qualified Aromatherapist working in the Nottingham
area, I offer a mobile service direct to your home. I can provide a gentle
and relaxing massage using pure essential oils such as Lavender, Geranium,
Neroli, Juniper, Jasmine, Rose, Bergamot, Basil, Ylang-ylang, Camomile, Frankincense,
and Sandalwood. These oils with their calming, relaxing, stimulating, uplifting,
warming, and rejuvenating properties can be helpful with many of today's common
problems including: stress, tension, anxiety, insomnia, tired, aching and
overworked muscles, depression and headaches.
Or why not indulge yourself with some well-deserved pampering? Some of the oils can leave you feeling euphoric, exhilarated and ready for anything!
Aromatherapy is the fragrant art of using selected aromatic oils for therapeutic purposes. It aims to treat the 'whole person' rather than just the symptoms of disease. The main aim is to release feelings of well-being, harmony and improved mental and physical health, through inhalation and massage of pure essential oils. Massage is a deeply relaxing form of therapy. The benefit of massage is cumulative: although the recipient will almost always feel good following a massage and for some hours afterwards, regular massage will prolong the feeling of wellbeing for ever-increasing periods after each treatment.
